Bilbao Airport, managed by Aena, provides a Kollvik composting plant for the utilization of organic waste susceptible of being composted and recycled as compost in gardens and green areas of the airport.
It is so stated on the fifth report of environmental and energetic management of the aerodrome, corresponding to 2009-2012, where its most significant actions in environmental matters are presented.
